One Nation offices raided
From AAP 28nov01
A POLICE raid on the One Nation Queensland offices related to the party's claim for electoral funding, party state director Morrie Marsden has said.
Officers of the Queensland fraud squad yesterday raided two of the party's offices following complaints from the Australian Electoral Commission.
A police spokesman said the fraud squad seized documents and computers from the buildings in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, and Mareeba in north Queensland.
He said the raid was not related to allegations of electoral fraud against Ms Hanson and former One Nation national director David Ettridge currently before the courts.
Mr Marsden said today: "The raid was in relation to an inquiry about our claim for electoral funding. <br>
"But I am under legal advice not to make any further comment."
Ms Hanson, who failed in her bid for a Queensland Senate seat at the November 10 election, could not be contacted.
